How did they develop their culture.

The ancient Rome develop their culture by influence. Their culture was once copy from the ancient Greece, and some from the Etruscan. But later they develop culture by themselves. They also got influence by other small civilization like Gaul, or Celt. Democracy is one of the most distinguished part of their culture. They also invented pax romana. It base on the idea that the conquered people got freedom of speech, trial, religion, and government if they pay taxes to the Romans. Surprisingly no one thought about it before and was lost afterward (it was re-discover in recent time). This two idea let to the thrive of Ancient Rome. Look at it, before ancient Romans civilization collapse the Ancient Romans was ruled by a non democracies government.

How did they satisfied their need

One word military conquest. The ancient Rome uses their military to gain territory so they have land to grow food and space to make the luxuries items. After the Romans conquered the living land (the place where the Romans know exist) the Romans started exploring. Conquering new land on the way. Once they find silk road and a civilization named China. They trade silk with them a short period of time. But this mean that Romans is a strong civilization, because the distance between Rome to Beijing is 8000 kilometers.

How did they exchange good and service

The ancient Rome uses cart and boat to exchange good. The ancient Romans trade a lot of thing to satisfied their need (you could see the economy section). They even trade silk that was from far away china. That was considered a big feat because China was so far away. The ancient Romans uses their navy to protect the merchant ship from pirates. Most of their trade is internally (meaning they trade inside their empire). The ancient Romans depend on the import, because they live in such a luxury lifestyle and the Rome city can't grow enough food for its people. The emperor also provide a service called  bread line. The service is to provide food to the poor. Most emperor do this service to make it's citizen happy.

Culture

What it is living in their culture

The Ancient Roman life style is somehow like Ancient Greece. Their eating habit is almost the same, but they also have different part too. In this section we'll talk about the culture of the ancient Rome.

The ancient Rome culture is really rich.In education most of the rich Ancient Romans boy is sent to school. Poorer ones learn what their father do for living. The girls learn on how to be a wife. The men went out to work and the women stay home and do chores take care of children. The ancient Rome find entertainment in going to the bathhouse (a place where they can get clean, meet friend, and relax) watching gladiator fight, or watching chariot racing. The rich ancient Romans live in huge two stories house with a courtyard (a yard right in the middle of the house). Some even have central heating. The poor live in a one to three room apartment. Which was constant threat of fire and disease. The Rich ancient Romans eat expensive food. The poorer one buy their food at the many "fast" food stall.

Clothes

The ancient Romans men wear toga. Only Romans citizen are aloud to wear toga. For most of the time the Ancient Romans wear simple tunic. The women wear a toga like dress called stola. They wear plenty of jewelry. All of them wear sandals. The clothing also represent the government. If a white toga with purple strip on the edge, it must be senator. Only the consul (Romans republic leader) and Emperor (Romans empire leader) can wear full purple toga.

custom

The ancient Romans custom is to go to the bath daily. The baths that day is like going to the mall or movie this day. The Romans are generally to treat visitor a good meals. The Forum (main square of Rome) is the place where you have to go to everyday. Theirs a lot of festivals. The ancient Rome love the festival. They celebrate with cheers and happiness. They're lot of Romans back them, and like humans they need to eat. The land surround the city Rome is really fertile, and the climate is suitable for growing food. As they conquered new land the Romans took advantage in the land they conquered to grow food. The land provided grains, herb, wine, spice, and olive oil. All of this is the most important food to the Ancient Romans.

The also use miller a device to crush grains to make the most important food "bread." They also use selective breeding, which is to use the best breed mix together to make a better breed.
